Dynatrace, a Boston-based provider of AI-powered observability platforms, plans to acquire Bindplane, a company from Grand Rapids that helps organizations collect and manage large amounts of data using open standards.
The deal amount was not disclosed. It is expected to close later this month, pending standard conditions, and is not expected to impact Dynatrace’s FY27 financial results significantly.
As cloud-native systems and AI-driven development grow, organizations are seeing a big increase in telemetry—the data that shows how their digital systems are working. Managing this data has become essential, and telemetry pipelines help collect, improve, and deliver it in a way teams can use.
Bindplane is a leader in this area. Its technology improves data quality, lowers costs, and protects sensitive information by removing, masking, or encrypting it. It also helps companies easily move from older monitoring tools to modern, cloud-based observability systems.
