Flock AI Raises $6M in Seed Funding

Flock AI, a NYC-based provider of an AI-native visual commerce platform, has raised $6 million in a Seed funding round led by Work-Bench.

The round also saw participation from January Ventures, Red Bike Capital, Outlander VC, AI Furnace, and strategic angels.

The funding round increased the company’s total raised to $7.5 million.

The company plans to use the funds to speed up product development and expand go-to-market efforts as enterprise demand increases.

The funding comes as retail brands face a major shift: success in e-commerce now requires personalized, high-quality visual content at scale—something traditional photoshoots and older AI tools weren’t built to handle.

Flock AI is an AI-powered visual commerce platform designed for fashion and retail. It acts as a co pilot for creative teams, generating brand accurate product images for every customer and channel without needing extra staff or budget. Unlike generic AI tools, Flock integrates seamlessly into the workflows of creative and merchandising teams.

Flock AI serves as a creative co-pilot, leveraging fashion trained models to help teams produce realistic on brand visuals rather than generic AI output. Each brand gets a custom AI model that captures over 200 visual attributes, ensuring consistent storytelling across e-commerce, editorial, and video. The system also learns from creative feedback and conversion data, continuously improving results over time.

Flock was created by insiders tackling a problem they knew well. CEO Manvitha Mallela spent years leading merchandising and creative operations at Bloomingdale’s and Jet.com/Walmart, seeing firsthand how slow and costly traditional content production could be. She built the platform she wished she had. CTO Malavika Reddy brings over ten years of experience in AI and computer vision, building and scaling machine learning systems.
