CA-based Guardrails AI secures $7.5million in seed funding. Leading the funding round was Zetta Venture Partners. Participating AI angels included Ian Goodfellow from DeepMind, Logan Kilpatrick from OpenAI, Lip-bu Tan, and Pear VC, Factory, GitHub Fund, and Bloomberg Beta.
The money will be used by the company to grow its engineering and product teams and keep improving its offerings.

Guardrails AI, under the direction of CEO Shreya Rajpal, develops instruments to quantify, track, and reduce AI risks. Additionally, the business unveiled Guardrails Hub, an open-source tool that enables developers to create, distribute, and reuse validators—advanced validation approaches.
These validators are compatible with Guardrails, an open-source solution from the company that serves as an additional layer when developing AI applications to make sure they follow rules and conventions.
There are already 50 pre-built validators in the hub, many of which have been given by a wide range of people and organizations. Developers can impose the necessary risk bounds and correctness assurances by assembling validators like building bricks into guards.
