What is Homa?
Homa is an AI-powered homebuying platform that allows buyers to search for properties, analyze prices, arrange tours, negotiate offers, secure mortgages, and close deals in one place.

Its AI uses state-specific laws, property data, and real estate information to provide pricing insights, disclosures, comparable property data, risk analysis, and bargaining-power scores before buyers make offers.
Local specialists arrange property tours, while in-house brokers handle offers and negotiations. Homa also returns part of the buyer-side broker commission to eligible buyers, who can use the credit toward closing costs, the purchase price or a mortgage rate reduction.

Why the Funding Matters
Homa will use the funding to expand its operations across California and introduce mortgage lending services within its platform.
The integrated mortgage feature will allow buyers to explore loan options without being transferred to an external lender. Homa says eligible buyers may use commission credits to reduce their mortgage interest rate by up to 0.75%.
Who founded Homa?
Homa was founded in 2024 by Arman Javaherian and Federico Campeotto. The company is based in Austin, Texas.
It operates as a licensed real estate brokerage, and combines AI-powered property analysis with brokerage and financing services.
“Buying a home is the biggest financial decision most people will ever make, and the two parties who decide whether it goes smoothly—the brokerage and the lender—are almost always separate businesses with no incentive to coordinate well,” said Michael Bloch, Partner at Quiet Capital.
“California buyers do their own research, and they are not looking for someone to unlock a door and mark it up by 3%,” Javaherian added. “What they actually need is real MLS access, a licensed broker who negotiates for a living, financing that is part of the offer strategy rather than an afterthought and a credit large enough to increase their purchasing power.”
Market and Business Growth
Homa is available statewide in California, Florida and Texas, covering approximately 95 million Americans.
The company reported its strongest month in September and gained attention earlier in 2026 for completing what it described as the first AI-powered home closings in the United States.
Homa says buyer commission credits have averaged more than $10,000 and can exceed $40,000 on higher-priced homes. Eligible buyers can use these credits for a mortgage rate buydown, closing costs, or the purchase price.
What Happens Next?
Homa plans to expand across California and launch mortgage lending services within its platform.
The company aims to bring property search, analysis, tours, negotiations, financing, and closing together in one process while helping eligible buyers reduce their homebuying costs.
