QED Investors led the round, with participation from Samsung Next, SV Angel, The Mini Fund, Precursor Ventures, Four Cities Fund, Patron, and The Points Guy creator Brian Kelly.

The money will be used by the business to launch a number of new services that will enhance its smart wallet functionality. Over 200,000 subscribers use Kudos’ AI-powered smart wallet service, which is run by CEO Tikue Anazodo. For customers, it serves as a full-featured smart wallet assistant.

To optimise their benefits and cash back, it might suggest or choose for them the ideal credit card to use at the time of payment. A number of additional features have been introduced by the firm recently, such as MariaGPT, an AI-powered card finding engine that now has over 3,000 cards in its database.

Dream Wallet, which uses a member’s purchasing patterns to suggest cards that automatically close gaps in their wallet; and Kudos Boost, which offers customised incentives that complement card rewards from over 15,000 partner retailers, such as Sephora and Walmart.
