MA-based knownwell Acquires Alfie Health

knownwell, an in-person and virtual, weight-inclusive primary care and metabolic health company, has acquired Alfie Health, an online precision medical and obesity management program that uses AI to generate evidence-based recommendations for weight management.

By making this acquisition, Knownwell will integrate Alfie’s innovative AI-driven obesity RxTM platform into its established care model. Alfie’s technology applies patient history analysis to identify the most relevant strategies for maintaining effective and lasting metabolic health improvements at the level of the individual through data-driven value-based care that balances cost and outcome improvement.

This acquisition will allow knownwell to further its commitment to being the healthcare home for patients living with overweight and obesity—peeling away biases and addressing the root causes of the condition in patients. Alfie Health founder and CEO Alexander Singh will also join the company as Head of Analytics.
