The platform supports Amazon Web Services (AWS), Google Cloud Platform, and Microsoft Azure. It also includes integrations with OpenAI, Anthropic, and Snowflake.
North.cloud aims to help businesses reduce infrastructure waste, get more computing power from their budgets, and manage growing AI costs.

North.cloud plans to use the funding to expand automated cost optimization across cloud providers, deepen platform integrations and improve its AI spending management capabilities.
The company will also expand its engineering, product, and go-to-market teams to support its growth.
Who founded North.cloud?
North.cloud was founded in 2023 by Yassine Açoine and Matt Biringer. The company is based in New York City.
"In the AI era, there's a direct line between how efficiently you invest in technology and how smart your product actually is," said Matt Biringer, CEO and co-founder of North. "North sits inside that stack, automating FinOps in just a few clicks, not a dashboard someone has to interpret.
"Cloud is where the spend problem started, and AI has only accelerated it, turning infrastructure into the fastest-growing and least-governed line item on the P&L," said Sanket Merchant, Partner at PeakSpan Capital. "With an estimated 30% of cloud spend wasted, before AI and data costs are even counted, hundreds of billions of dollars that should be fueling growth are lost every year.
Market and Business Growth
North.cloud says it manages nearly $2 billion in cloud spending and has helped customers save more than $400 million. Its customer base includes AssemblyAI, Atlan, Tines, SnapLogic, Emplifi, and Imply.
Its North v3 release expanded platform coverage to Microsoft Azure, completing support for the three major cloud providers. The release also introduced integrations with OpenAI, Anthropic, and Snowflake and extended Autobot, its automated commitment laddering engine.
North.cloud has also introduced TokenFlow to help businesses manage AI model usage, spending attribution, budgets, and financial controls alongside their cloud infrastructure costs.
