PeakMetrics Raises $6M in Series A Funding

PeakMetrics, a Los Angeles, CA-based AI-driven narrative intelligence company, has raised $6 million in a Series A funding round led by Moneta Ventures.

The round also saw participation from Techstars, Parameter Ventures, VITALIZE Venture Capital, and Gurtin Ventures. The raise brought the total amount to $16.3M.

The company plans to use the funds to expand its market reach, improve its AI platform, better detect harmful content in real time, provide stronger insights for decision-making, and build future tools like fact-checking systems to help organizations rely on trusted information.

PeakMetrics has grown 3X in the past year as more organizations use it to manage an internet shaped by AI. With most online content now expected to be AI-generated, false or manipulated stories can spread very quickly—whether from organized groups or even one person.

PeakMetrics was designed for this challenge. It helps companies, agencies, and public teams understand how information spreads online. Its AI tools work all the time to answer key questions: Why is a story spreading? Who is behind it? Is it real or planned? Which audiences are losing trust, and why? By providing these answers early, PeakMetrics helps leaders take action, protect their reputation, and maintain public trust.

Customers use PeakMetrics to spot risks early, find useful insights in online noise, and act quickly. It helps detect early signs of boycott campaigns, track changes in how people view a brand, and stop false stories before they spread—giving organizations the information they need to act with confidence.

PeakMetrics started in defense and national security and has built its platform for today’s changing information environment. The company is now shaping the narrative intelligence space and helping leaders spot misleading information early—before it becomes a bigger threat.

“AI has increased how fast and widely stories spread online,” said Nick Loui, Co-Founder and CEO of PeakMetrics. “Organizations can’t rely on limited visibility anymore. PeakMetrics helps leaders understand what is spreading, whether it’s real, and what action is needed. This funding will help us move faster in bringing clarity to a world full of misleading information.”

“As AI speeds up how information spreads online, PeakMetrics’ platform is becoming important for companies and governments to detect and respond to new narrative threats. From the start, the team has shown strong vision and execution, and their platform is already delivering clear value to customers. We’re excited to support PeakMetrics as it grows in a large market,” said Brent Kelton, Partner at Moneta Ventures.

“In a world where stories can quickly affect markets and reputation, brands can not rely on delayed data, said Michael Brito of Zeno Group. “PeakMetrics helps us track narratives at scale, spot new trends early, measure their impact and see who is driving them. This helps us act early protect reputation guide strategy and respond with confidence before problems grow.”
