Pipe Raises $16M in Funding

Pipe, a San Francisco, CA-based fintech that provides embedded solutions for small businesses, has raised $16 million in a funding round led by Fin Capital and MaC Venture Capital.

Marlon Nichols, General Managing Partner at MaC Venture Capital, has joined Pipe’s board of directors.

The company plans to use the funds to grow its operations and continue developing its products.

Pipe is a fintech company that offers embedded financial solutions to help small businesses access funding more easily. It has added new partners, including AI-powered point-of-sale provider Epos Now, to expand access to working capital for in-store businesses in the US, Canada, and the UK. Pipe is also growing globally, with about 20% of its funding now coming from outside the United States—a number expected to increase. The company has also extended its capital facility with Victory Park Capital for two more years, for up to $225 million.

This is Pipe’s first equity funding round since relaunching its embedded financing product in 2024. Over the past two years, Pipe Capital has provided more than 15,000 funding advances to small businesses worldwide, totaling over $300 million. Through its main product, Pipe lets businesses access tailored funding in just a few clicks, directly within the tools they already use. The company has grown quickly through partnerships with platforms like Boulevard, GoCardless, Housecall Pro, Live Payments, and Uber.

“Pipe has built a better way for small businesses to access funding—AI-powered, built into partner platforms, and easy to use,” said Claurelle Rakipovic, CEO of Pipe. “We’ve stayed focused on our customers while managing the business carefully. This new funding will help us grow faster and continue improving access to capital for small businesses.”

“Pipe has grown strongly over the past two years since launching Pipe Capital, offering a high-quality product to small businesses that traditional lenders often overlook,” said Logan Allin, Founder and Managing Partner at Fin Capital and a member of Pipe’s board. “Its steady growth in funding and revenue, along with disciplined operations, gives us confidence that it will continue to stand out in a competitive market.”
