About Ranchbot

Founded to address water management challenges across large agricultural properties, Ranchbot provides remote monitoring solutions for ranchers, farmers and wildlife managers.

The company's platform uses rugged IoT sensors and satellite connectivity to monitor water tanks, pipelines, troughs, rainfall and other infrastructure. Producers can access the information remotely through a mobile device without having to physically travel across large properties.

Ranchbot currently serves more than 12,000 customers managing approximately 10 million beef cattle and 15 million sheep across North America, Australia and other markets.

Core offerings include:

  • Remote water tank monitoring
  • Pipeline and leak detection
  • Satellite-connected IoT sensors
  • Rainfall and infrastructure monitoring

“This capital allows us to resource up and expand development across both hardware and software to do even more for our customers,” says Andrew Coppin, Ranchbot co-founder and executive chairman. “Together with our investors, we are investing in the future of ranching.”

“Water is one of the most critical inputs in cattle production, yet managing water infrastructure remains highly manual across much of the industry,” summarizes Chuck Warta, Lewis & Clark Partners operating partner. “Ranchbot has built a category-leading platform that is delivering meaningful operational value for producers.”
