ST Engineering iDirect Announces Strategic Partnership with MBSat

The partnership will use Intuition software to support secure connectivity, faster service deployment, better resource management and scalable network operations.

The partnership comes as Middle East operators invest more in local communications infrastructure to gain better control over services, expand their networks and upgrade technology over time.

Intuition will provide MBSat with a complete ground-system solution to speed deployment, simplify operations and expand services as demand grows.

The platform will support automated services, flexible resource management and integration with existing and future systems. It will also include Ka-band gateway infrastructure, service management, API integration, training and ongoing support.

The network will use capacity from MB Sat-1, a sovereign MicroGEO satellite expected to launch services in 2027. It aims to provide flexible and scalable connectivity across the region.
