Thesis Care Raises $45M in Series A Funding

Thesis Care, a NYC-based provider of an AI-powered care team platform for scalable clinical capacity, has raised $45 million in a Series A funding round led by Oak HC/FT.

The round also saw CRV, Black Opal Ventures and angel investors.

The increase made the total amount $60 million.

The company plans to use the money to grow its operations and improve development.

Thesis Care (formerly Trovo Health) is an AI-powered platform that helps healthcare teams handle more work. With this announcement, the company is also introducing its new name, Thesis Care, to show how its platform has grown. It uses AI agents, supported by expert clinicians, to manage important clinical tasks and care operations for healthcare organizations.

The platform uses AI to understand medical details and provide personalized patient support throughout the task from start to finish. It also knows when to involve Thesis’s clinical experts. Since it handles everything end-to-end, staff don’t need to learn a new tool, and their current workflow stays the same.

Thesis works with thousands of healthcare providers, including large primary and specialty care organizations. Its partners include US Heart & Vascular, Essen Health Care, Springfield Clinic, Unio Health Partners, and Allied Digestive Health. The company is now expanding its partnerships with health systems and care teams, rather than with health plans.

“2025 was an important year for Thesis as we moved from early partnerships to real business growth and more customers,” said Niren Gandra, CEO and co-founder of Thesis Care. “We’ve shown that we can increase clinical capacity and help our customers do more for patients at a scale that wasn’t possible before. Now, we’re ready to offer this to every healthcare organization that needs it.”

“Thesis helps us provide better care to more patients without adding extra workload,” said Shaivali Shah, SVP of Operations at Allied Digestive Health. “It reduces the burden on our staff, helps patients come prepared, and closes care gaps. What makes Thesis special is the mix of AI and human experts, which improves patient care. The results clearly show its value.”

“As we grow USHV, we choose partners who deliver both innovation and results,” said Mike Plantz, Senior Vice President of Revenue Operations at US Heart & Vascular. “Thesis combines AI and expert care teams, allowing us to use solutions quickly with little effort, reduce administrative work, and better support our practices.”

“Thesis has built a unique platform that handles complex clinical work,” said Andrew Adams, Co-Founder and Managing Partner at Oak HC/FT. “We’re proud to keep supporting the Thesis team as they create systems for the future of scalable healthcare.”
