Tomorrow.io Raises $175M in Equity Financing

Tomorrow.io, a Boston, MA-based provider of space-based weather intelligence and climate resilience solutions, has raised $175 million in equity financing series led by Stonecourt Capital and HarbourVest Partners.

The round also saw participation from existing investors, including Square Peg, Canaan, Activate Capital, Pitango, ClearVision, and Fontinalis.

The company plans to use the funds to accelerate the launch of DeepSky, its AI-powered weather satellite network, and to expand its global space infrastructure and intelligence platform for frequent atmospheric monitoring.

This funding builds on a strong track record. Tomorrow.io has fully deployed its first satellite constellation, launching 13 satellites to achieve 60-minute global coverage, while scaling its AI driven intelligence platform across key industries. DeepSky takes the next step, supporting growth, expanding data coverage and enabling new high-frequency sensing capabilities.

Eric Gribetz, Managing Director, Stonecourt Capital

“We first invested in Tomorrow.io in 2021, when the company was just starting its space strategy. From the start, we trusted the team’s vision, expertise, and ability to deliver. Over the years, they’ve consistently executed and we are proud to strengthen our partnership as they continue building a category defining platform.”

AI-driven forecasting is often limited not by algorithms but by the availability, variety, and timeliness of atmospheric data, and legacy satellites cannot meet the needs of modern AI systems. DeepSky fills this gap as a network of multi-sensor satellites in Low Earth Orbit, increasing revisit rates, expanding coverage in data-sparse areas, and providing faster updates for global and regional forecasts—creating a new foundation for AI-powered weather intelligence.

Peter Lipson, Managing Director at HarbourVest Partners

Tomorrow.io’s technology is already used in some of the world’s most complex operations, helping aviation, logistics, energy, insurance, and public sector teams make real-time decisions. DeepSky takes this further, enabling a new generation of continuously adaptive, AI-powered decision systems.

Tomorrow.io combines advanced technology, strong commercial traction, global impact and a management team that consistently delivers on an ambitious vision. Positioned at the intersection of space, data, and critical decision making, we are excited to partner with Shimon, Itai, Rei, and the team as they enter the next phase of growth.”

The same data that helps businesses improve operations also boosts public-sector preparedness, disaster response and long-term risk planning, highlighting the commercial and societal benefits of AI-powered weather intelligence.

“Operational resilience now requires treating atmospheric data as mission critical infrastructure,” said Nikhil Ahuja, Senior Director of Planning, and Supply Chain at Amazon.

“DeepSky’s advanced sensing, and fast updates create a new class of AI driven decision systems that are more adaptive and localized, shaping the future of large-scale operations worldwide.”

“Modern supply chains can’t rely on static plans or past averages. Real resilience comes from continuously sensing conditions, and turning that intelligence into decisions across the network,” said Matt Garland CTO at BNSF. “DeepSky is an important step toward a new era where agentic AI plays a key role in planning and creating a unified operational view.”

“Weather shapes our world, affecting lives, economies, and security every day. Tomorrow.io was founded on the belief that better observation of the planet can transform decision making at every level,” said Shimon Elkabetz, CEO and Co-Founder. “DeepSky is the next step in that mission, combining AI-powered space infrastructure with real-time intelligence to create a weather platform that helps governments, industries, and communities not just predict the future, but act on it.”

Philippe Schwartz, Partner at Square Peg

“Tomorrow.io has steadily delivered on its ambitious, long-term vision. We’re thrilled to see HarbourVest join Stonecourt as the company grows its platform and broadens its global impact—a significant milestone for both the team and the business.”

Goldman Sachs & Co. LLC served as the exclusive financial advisor to Tomorrow.io on the financing, with Goodwin Procter LLP as the company’s legal counsel.
