Canada-based Viggle AI, revolutionizing character animation through generative artificial intelligence, has raised $19 million in Series A funding led by Andreessen Horowitz (a16z), with participation from additional investor Two Small Fish.

With the funding round, Viggle AI will be able to grow its workforce, develop new products more quickly, and maintain its position as a pioneer in AI animation and controllable video production.

The company has experienced rapid expansion, and the latest capital coincides with consumer desire for AI solutions that facilitate the technology’s mainstreaming. Using straightforward text-to-video or image-to-video prompts, users can easily create lifelike animations with Viggle AI, which was founded to streamline the animation process. Because of its patented JST-1 technology, which was developed with a true understanding of physics, realistic character movements can now be created in video games.
