FIFA is sharing the history of the game on YouTube by releasing content from its digital archive, including full past matches and other iconic moments. Fans can enjoy the upcoming tournament from a fresh, exciting perspective.

The new partnership gives media partners access to more premium content for their YouTube channels and additional ways to earn revenue. Media partners will be able to:

  • Share Every Angle: Access a huge library of match footage across formats, including extended highlights, behind-the-scenes clips, Shorts, and on-demand videos, helping media partners reach and engage more viewers on YouTube.
  • Feature the Kickoff: For the first time, media partners can live stream the first 10 minutes of every match, letting fans feel the excitement from the opening whistle.
  • Broadcast the Full 90: Media partners can stream select full matches on their channels, engaging global audiences and showing where to watch the rest of the tournament.

In partnership with FIFA and the official media partners, YouTube creators around the world will get unmatched access to matches and more. They’ll do more than react to the game—they’ll share fresh perspectives, human stories, tactical insights, and behind-the-scenes moments, bringing the FIFA World Cup™ to life as it happens.

Even before the tournament starts, creators will help promote it and engage audiences using exclusive access to FIFA’s Digital Archive. This partnership gives media partners a chance to reach more viewers and lets creators share unique perspectives, bringing the next generation of fans closer to the FIFA World Cup action on YouTube.

“FIFA is excited to welcome YouTube as a Preferred Platform for the FIFA World Cup 2026,” said FIFA Secretary General Mattias Grafström. “By highlighting FIFA’s premium content and opening new opportunities for media partners and creators, this partnership will engage fans worldwide like never before. As the world watches the tournament in Canada, Mexico, and the United States, working with YouTube helps us maximize its reach and give fans everywhere easy access to an immersive experience of the biggest single-sport event in history.”
