Texas-based Digital Wildcatters secures $2.5 million in funding. Chuck Yates led the round, in which ProFrac, Diamondback Energy, and other angel investors also took part.

Texas-based Digital Wildcatters secures $2.5 million in funding. Chuck Yates led the round, in which ProFrac, Diamondback Energy, and other angel investors also took part.

This funding came after an angel investor-funded $2 million seed round in 2021. The funds will be utilised by the company to advance the development and marketing of their professional networking software, “Collide.”

Digital Wildcatters, led by CEO Collin McLelland, gives energy professionals a community to keep focused on trends, develop their networks, and progress their careers in the energy sector.

Collide consists of three main components: “Collide Jobs,” which helps businesses find qualified candidates; “Collide Pro,” an AI-powered content search engine that offers swift access to industry information; and a professional network for energy professionals to exchange knowledge and establish connections.
