NYC-based Redactable Secures $5.5M in Seed Funding. Gradient Ventures led the round, and Wocstar Fund, current pre-seed investors, and angel investors also participated.
The funds will be utilised by the company to broaden its operations, visibility, and market reach. Redactable is a web-based platform that allows users to redact confidential documents from any browser. It is led by CEO and founder Amanda Levay.

The proprietary programme offers secure redaction, document scrubbing, and AI-driven workflows by automatically recognising sensitive content in documents via the use of Natural Language Processing and Machine Learning (NLP/ML) technology.
More than a year has passed since the company’s $1.3 million pre-seed funding round, which was made possible by investors such as Everywhere Ventures, Hustle Fund, Revelry, and Stony Lonesome Group. These investors also helped launch the platform in July 2022.
