May 11, 2026 | By Startuprise io

KIC announced that Aditya Humad has stepped down as President, and CFO of KIC Ventures. He will now focus on investment strategy, capital raising, and new technology initiatives at KIC, rather than on daily operations and financial management.

Aditya Humad has worked with Kingsley R. Chin for more than 20 years, starting when Dr. Chin was a faculty member at the University of Pennsylvania. Over the last 15 years, Humad helped manage financial operations and business growth at KIC Ventures, supporting its expansion in healthcare and medical technology.

During his time at KIC Ventures, Aditya Humad helped with fundraising, mergers and acquisitions, financial planning, business growth, and long-term strategy. In his new role at KIC, he will focus on investment strategy, partnerships, AI projects, SPV investments, and global investment opportunities.

"Aditya has been a key part of our journey over the past two decades," said Dr. Kingsley R. Chin, Founder, CEO and Partner at KIC. "From his early foundation in investment banking at JPMorgan to his leadership at KIC Ventures, he has supported the growth of multiple companies and strategic initiatives over the years. As KIC continues expanding its focus on AI, investment partnerships and emerging technologies, we are supportive of Aditya dedicating his leadership and experience fully toward these initiatives."
