As a member of the KCOA Board of Directors, Andrea will work with other industry leaders to support Kids' Chance state chapters. Together, they will help improve governance, fundraising, communications, scholarship programs, and overall operations. Their goal is to raise more funding and provide college scholarships to even more children of workers who were seriously injured or killed on the job.
“I joined Ametros nearly a decade ago because I was drawn to the organization’s unique injured worker first approach. Compassion and empathy are truly the foundation of our business, and because of that, I’ve had the opportunity to personally hear and see how a catastrophic workplace injury affects the entire family,” said Mills.
“We are very thoughtful and selective when choosing board members,” said KCOA CEO Chris Letsos. “In addition to being a seasoned professional in the workers’ compensation space and demonstrating past involvement with Kids’ Chance, prospective board members must exude a desire to create a nationwide community of committed donors, volunteers, and supporters who are stronger together.”
