Biotech Startup KaliVir Immunotherapeutics Raises $14M in Series A Extension Funding

KaliVir Immunotherapeutics, a Pittsburgh, PA-based clinical-stage biotechnology company developing multi-mechanistic oncolytic immunotherapy programs, has raised $14 million in a Series A extension funding round led by Company K Partners, bringing the total amount to $25 million.

The round also saw participation from SV Investment, Flexus Partners, as well as continued support from existing investors including affiliates of Nextrans and Quad Investment Management.

The company plans to use the proceeds to advance the clinical development of VET3-TGI, including patient enrollment in the ongoing STEALTH-001 Phase 1/1b clinical trial for patients with advanced solid tumors. The funds will also support general corporate activities.
