Riskified Announces the Appointment of Ronen Assia to its Board of Directors

Assia is the Managing Partner at Team8, where he invests in and builds financial technology companies. He is also the co-founder and Executive Director of eToro. He holds a bachelor's degree in Industrial Design from Bezalel Academy of Arts and Design and a master's degree in Product Design from the Royal College of Art in London.

Mr. Assia brings strong expertise in product development and the technology industry to Riskified. His experience building and leading technology platforms will support the company's AI-powered fraud and risk intelligence platform, drive product innovation, and improve the experience for merchants as Riskified expands its global ecommerce business.

The Board regularly reviews its membership to ensure it has the right mix of skills, experience, and diverse perspectives to support the company's long-term strategy and oversee its business effectively. Following Assia's appointment, Riskified's Board will have nine directors, including seven independent directors under the New York Stock Exchange's listing rules.
