California-Based Discern Security Raises $13M in Series A Funding

Discern Security, a Sunnyvale, CA-based provider of an AI-native security workspace that improves cybersecurity posture through proactive, agent-driven optimization of security controls, has raised $13M in a Series A funding round led by Forgepoint Capital.

The round also saw participation from First Rays Ventures, Growth Enjin Partners, Vela Ventures, and other angel investors.

The fresh capital will help the company accelerate product development, expand its AI capabilities, strengthen its engineering and product teams, and scale operations.
