Tiny Health, an Austin, TX-based microbiome intelligence platform advancing gut, and vaginal microbiome testing across the lifespan, has secured $33 million in Series B funding led by B Capital, bringing total funding to $46 million.
The round also saw participation from existing investors Spero Ventures, The Venture City, Overwater Ventures, and others, and new investors Black Opal Ventures, Denver Ventures, Pave Health Ventures, Alumni Ventures, Gaingels, and Pari Passu Ventures. Nick Whitehead, Senior Principal at B Capital, will join the Tiny Health Board of Directors.
The company will use the funds to support clinical research and studies, expand education for healthcare professionals, and grow its B2B platform, Powered by Tiny. It will also develop TinyAI, an AI tool trained on nearly 200,000 microbiome profiles to provide personalized guidance based on users’ results.

Market and Business Growth
Tiny Health has built a proprietary dataset containing nearly 200,000 microbiome profiles.
The company has published four scientific papers and has a second randomized controlled trial underway. Its research covers areas including early-life health, inflammatory bowel disease, menopause, GLP-1 treatments and oncology drug response.
A 2025 randomized controlled trial published in Pediatric Allergy and Immunology reported that targeted microbiome interventions reduced infants’ odds of developing eczema by 83%.
