Colorado-Based Laird Superfood Appoints Mark Johnson as CFO

Laird Superfood has appointed Mark Johnson as it's new Chief Financial Officer (CFO) effective October 1, 2026. Johnson will report to CEO Jason Vieth.

In his new role, Johnson will serve as the company’s principal financial and accounting officer, overseeing its financial and accounting functions.

Mark Johnson brings more than 25 years of finance leadership experience across public consumer goods companies and private equity-backed businesses.

Before joining Laird Superfood, Johnson served as Vice President of Finance North America at Tropicana Brands Group. He previously held senior finance roles at Champion Petfoods, Danone, WhiteWave Foods and The Pepsi Bottling Group.

Johnson holds an MBA in Finance from the Carlson School of Management at the University of Minnesota and a Bachelor’s degree in Economics from the University of Wisconsin-Madison.
