Cybersecurity Startup Approov Appoints Rex Jackson as Chairman of the Board

He succeeds Dr. Lucio Lanza, who led the board for several years. Dr. Lanza will remain with the company as a non-executive board director.

Rex S. Jackson brings more than 30 years of leadership experience in Silicon Valley technology companies. During his career, he has served as Chief Financial Officer and General Counsel at several public and private tech companies, most recently helping lead ChargePoint through its merger and public listing.

He currently serves on the board of Terra Innovatum (Nasdaq: NKLR), where he chairs the audit committee and is a member of the compensation committee. Jackson earned a law degree from Stanford Law School and a bachelor's degree from Duke University.

The company also thanked Dr. Lucio Lanza for his years of leadership. A well-known investor in the semiconductor and electronic design automation industry, he supported Approov from its early days and helped guide the company as Board Chairman. During his time as chairman, Dr. Lanza played an important role in supporting Approov's growth and its work in cloud-based cryptographic mobile app attestation.
