D.A. Davidson & Co. Appoints Garik Shmois as Managing Director

In his new role, Shmois will lead research coverage of the construction materials and building products sectors, providing institutional clients with market insights and industry analysis.

Garik Shmois brings more than 20 years of experience in equity research, financial modeling, and market analysis. He has been recognized several times by StarMine Financial Times as the top earnings estimator and stock picker in his sector.

His research has been featured by major publications, including The Wall Street Journal, The New York Times, Bloomberg, and CNBC.

Before joining D.A. Davidson, Shmois was a Managing Director at Loop Capital Markets, where he led research on industrials, construction materials, and building products. Earlier in his career, he held senior research roles at Longbow Securities and National City Bank.
