May 1, 2026 | By Startuprise io

DISA Technologies, a Casper, WY-based company developing solutions for mineral processing, domestic uranium remediation, and resource recovery, has raised $33 million in a funding round led by Galvanize with participation from BHP Ventures, Evok Innovations, Constellation Energy, Halliburton Labs, Valor Equity Partners, and Veriten.

The raise brought the total amount to $83 million.

The company plans to use the funds to grow its operations and continue developing its products.

DISA Technologies Inc. is developing advanced solutions for mineral processing, uranium cleanup, and resource recovery. Its patented High-Pressure Slurry Ablation (HPSA™) technology helps extract minerals more efficiently, offering a cleaner, faster, and more effective approach for both new processing and legacy uranium remediation.

DISA Technologies Inc. is expanding its use across mining sites and Abandoned Uranium Mine (AUM) cleanup projects, with commercial systems already running at several locations worldwide and more than 100 AUM sites under contract.

In September 2025, the company received a first-of-its-kind license from the Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC), allowing it to carry out AUM remediation across the U.S. It plans to begin projects later this year, including work on the Navajo Nation and at a federal site.

DISA Technologies Inc. has made strong progress over the past year, including advancing regulatory approvals, bringing in strategic investors, deploying commercial scale HPSA™ units at mining sites and expanding its uranium cleanup and recovery platform.
