Ensera and Argonaut Partner to Streamline Supply for Drug-Device Combination Products

Argonaut Manufacturing Services, a US based sterile fill-finish CDMO, and Ensera, a CDMO specializing in drug delivery device assembly and packaging with operations in the US, Europe, and Asia, have announced a strategic partnership.

The collaboration combines Argonaut’s aseptic fill finish capabilities with Ensera’s device assembly and packaging expertise helping customers simplify supply chains, reduce operational risks and speed up production timelines.

Argonaut provides aseptic fill-finish services for vials, syringes, and cartridges, along with analytical testing and stability studies. Ensera complements these services with device assembly, labeling, secondary packaging, kitting, serialization sterilization management and testing for vials and drug delivery devices.

Through the partnership customers can access a simplified quotation process that cover's services from both companies. They will also benefit from coordinated project management, helping ensure smooth collaboration between fill finish and device assembly activities throughout development, and manufacturing.

Argonaut has audited Enseras US facility and approved the company as a key supply chain partner. This reflects both companies commitment to maintaining high quality standards for clinical and commercial manufacturing programs.

The partnership is designed to address common challenges in the combination product market, including fragmented supply chains, limited manufacturing capacity for mid sized programs and the growing need to bring specialty biologics and biosimilars to market more quickly. By improving coordination across manufacturing stages, the companies aim to deliver a more efficient development and production process.
