Health Care Startup Cencora Appoints Robert Sanchez to Its Board of Directors

Cencora has appointed Robert E. Sanchez as a new independent member of its Board of Directors, effective October 1, 2026.

Sanchez is currently Executive Chair of Ryder System. He previously served as Chair and CEO of Ryder until retiring as CEO in March 2026.
Before becoming CEO in 2013, Sanchez spent 20 years at Ryder in several senior roles, including President and COO, President of Global Fleet Management Solutions, and Executive Vice President and CFO.

Sanchez currently serves on the Board of Directors of Texas Instruments and is a Trustee of the University of Miami. He holds an MBA from the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania and a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Miami.
