Kentucky-Based Waystar Appoints Alpana Wegner as Chief Financial Officer

Waystar, a provider of leading healthcare payment software,  has appointed Alpana Wegner as its Chief Financial Officer, effective August 1, 2026.

Wegner joins the company to support its continued growth and strengthen the value of its healthcare payment platform. She brings decades of experience in growing technology businesses, improving operations, and creating value at publicly traded companies.

Alpana Wegner will succeed Steve Oreskovich, who has served as Waystars Chief Financial Officer for the past eight years. Oreskovich is stepping down from the role for personal reasons. He will remain with the company as an advisor until 15 June 2027, to help ensure a smooth leadership transition.

Alpana Wegner brings more than 25 years of experience in finance and business leadership. She has served as Chief Financial Officer at several publicly traded companies.

Most recently, she was CFO of Integral Ad Science. She also previously served as CFO of Secureworks and Benefitfocus and held senior finance leadership roles at the cloud software company Blackbaud.
