Latham & Watkins LLP Appoints Erica Schohn as a partner

Latham & Watkins LLP has appointed Erica Schohn as a partner in its Executive Compensation, Employment & Benefits Practice in New York. She is widely recognized for her experience in executive compensation and employee benefits.
Schohn advises clients on executive compensation matters related to mergers and acquisitions, IPOs, capital markets transactions, private equity deals, and ongoing corporate governance, disclosure, and executive compensation arrangements.
Schohn advises boards of directors, compensation committees, senior executives, and corporate deal teams on executive compensation matters related to business transactions. She has extensive experience with executive retention, transition plans, incentive programs, and compensation strategies in mergers, acquisitions, and private equity deals.

She is also well known as the co-editor of the *Section 409A Handbook*, a leading guide on Section 409A of the U.S. Internal Revenue Code, which governs nonqualified deferred compensation.
