The startup plans to use the money to increase the number of American healthcare providers who have access to its clinical mental health AI. Clinical mental health AI startup Limbic, led by CEO Dr. Ross Harper, provides consumers with a care companion who helps them in between therapy sessions.

Patients can receive on-demand mental health care with clinical rigor using a chatbot interface that is driven by a clinical AI brain. The patient is guided through a selection of 100 themed activities and instructional resources.

According to the firm, it has already facilitated the admission of more than 260,000 NHS patients, freeing up more than 50,000 clinical hours for NHS services and saving between five and ten times the economic cost for each extra user recovery. Additionally, they have broadened the patient base seeking mental health services.
