How Much Funding Has Atomic Secured?
Atomic has secured $12.5 million in its latest Series A funding round.
The company was incubated at DVx Ventures, founded by former Tesla President Jon McNeill, who also serves on Atomic’s board. DVx has backed Atomic since its early stages.
Who Invested in Atomic’s Series A?
The Series A round was led by:
- Klass Capital
- Madrona
Adrian Schauer of Klass Capital and Matt McIlwain of Madrona are joining Atomic’s board.
DVx Ventures has supported the company since its early days.
Why the Funding Matters
Atomic will use the new funding to expand its platform and support larger enterprise deployments.
The company is moving beyond planning and decision support toward a broader control system that connects business objectives with day-to-day supply chain decisions.
Who founded Atomic?
Atomic was founded in 2023 by Jeff Goodrich, Neal Suidan and Michael Rossiter.
The company is based in Boston, Massachusetts and was incubated at DVx Ventures.
"Most companies can't justify building the kind of planning engineering team we had at Tesla," said Rossiter, Atomic's co-founder and CEO. "They're still running critical parts of their business through legacy software, hundreds of spreadsheets and individual heroics. Atomic gives them that capability as a product."
"Atomic helped us keep inventory under control as we expanded the business. It's the core engine we use to plan supply and place purchase orders," said Seb Tron, president of Good Chop.
Market and Business Growth
Atomic has reported adoption across large physical-goods businesses.
For DoorDash’s DashMart business, Atomic now automates 90% of purchasing across hundreds of sites. DashMart migrated to Atomic in about three months with feature parity and no business disruption.
Good Chop, HelloFresh’s meat box subscription business, used Atomic to reduce inventory on hand from eight or nine weeks to four while more than doubling revenue and expanding its distribution network and product range.
Atomic’s Nucleus AI platform is also being used daily by customers for S&OP preparation, inventory questions and supply-risk checks.
What Happens Next?
Atomic plans to expand its platform and support larger enterprise deployments. The company will continue developing its AI capabilities as it moves from supply chain planning toward a broader system for daily operational decision-making.
