Neros Technologies Raises $250 Mn Series C at $2.5 Billion Valuation

The funding round was co-led by Sequoia Capital and American Strategic Technology Fund (ASTF), with participation from Interlagos, Valor Equity Partners, Allen & Company, Thiel Capital, Spark Capital and Dylan Field.

The Torrance, California-based company will use the capital to accelerate the development and production of its new drone programs, including Archer AI and Bandit, while expanding its domestic manufacturing capabilities.

Production Expansion

Neros is significantly expanding its U.S. manufacturing footprint as demand for affordable drone systems grows. The company recently moved its factory to a larger facility in Torrance, California, while also expanding its operations team.

The company is targeting a substantial increase in production capacity over the next few years, supported by its latest funding and a growing defense procurement pipeline.

"Shahed drones designed by Iran are terrorizing the Ukrainian people because Ukraine lacks the means to intercept them," said Ulaf Hitz, Chief Technology Officer at Neros. "The pressure to field these drones is real, and we don't have the luxury of just tinkering in a lab."
