Its platform combines fragmented security and IT data into a real-time Security Context Graph. This graph maps relationships between assets, user identities, vulnerabilities, applications, and business systems, helping security teams identify risks that might otherwise go unnoticed.
Northstar also allows external AI agents to access its Security Context Graph through the Model Context Protocol (MCP). This enables businesses to build security workflows using tools such as Claude and other AI systems.

Why the Funding Matters
Enterprise security teams often work with data spread across multiple tools and systems. This can make it hard to understand how individual vulnerabilities, user permissions, and business applications connect.
Northstar aims to address this problem by bringing the data together in a shared context graph. Its AI agents can use that information to investigate interconnected risks and initiate workflows to resolve them.
Who founded Northstar Security?
Northstar Security was founded in 2026 by Amer Deeba and Ed Rowe. The company is headquartered in San Francisco, California.
The founders are building the platform to connect security intelligence with practical remediation, helping enterprises move beyond identifying security problems to taking action.
"Security teams are drowning in data but starving for context," said Amer Deeba, CEO and co-founder of Northstar Security. "We've spent decades building better tools to find security problems, but connecting the dots and fixing them remains painfully manual. We believe the next generation of security won't be defined by more dashboards or alerts.
"The cybersecurity industry has spent billions building better ways to find problems, yet security teams are still struggling to keep up with the risks they've uncovered," said Jake Flomenberg, Partner at Wing Venture Capital. "Northstar is challenging decades of conventional thinking by giving AI agents the context to understand what's happening and the ability to do something about it.
Market and Business Growth
Northstar currently supports more than 70 integrations across enterprise security and IT systems.
These include AWS, Google Cloud, Microsoft Defender, Microsoft Entra, Okta, GitHub, Slack, Workday, and Zendesk. The integrations allow the platform to connect information across cloud infrastructure, identity management, collaboration, and business applications.
What Happens Next?
Northstar Security plans to accelerate product development, expand its team, and strengthen its go-to-market efforts.
It will continue developing its Security Context Graph and AI agents to help enterprises identify connected risks and coordinate remediation across their IT environments.
