Motor Vehicle-Based Grounded Raises $5M in Seed Funding

Grounded, a Detroit, MI-based advanced manufacturing and mobility company known for its modular electric vehicles, has raised $5M in a seed funding round. Backers were not disclosed.

The company will use the capital to establish a new vehicle-agnostic manufacturing line, build a 50,000-square-foot production facility in Detroit, and expand its manufacturing, engineering, and sales teams.
