ORCA Computing Expands at Digital Realty Lab in London

May 26, 2026 | By Startuprise io

ORCA Computing announced that it has joined the newly launched Digital Realty Innovation Lab in London, an advanced infrastructure testing facility developed by Digital Realty, one of the world’s largest cloud- and carrier-neutral data center providers.

The partnership with Digital Realty mark's another important commercial step for ORCA Computing as businesses explore how quantum computing can work alongside AI and high performance computing systems.

As part of the project, ORCA’s PT Series photonic quantum systems will run together with advanced AI and infrastructure technologies in a real operating environment without requiring special cooling systems or complex infrastructure.

The Digital Realty Innovation Lab helps customers test new AI and quantum technologies in real operating conditions before large-scale deployment, reducing risk and speeding up adoption.

By launching the lab in London, Digital Realty is expanding access to advanced infrastructure testing for organizations developing next-generation computing environments across the EMEA region.

ORCA Computing’s latest deployment highlights its data center-focused approach to photonic quantum computing. The partnership further strengthens ORCA’s position as a leading quantum computing company and one of the few full-stack quantum firms able to deploy systems quickly in commercial environments.

This announcement highlights ORCA Computings continued progress in integrating quantum and classical computing for generative AI and enterprise applications. Alongside partnerships with NVIDIA, Toyota Tsusho, SiC Systems and JIJ, ORCA is expanding the use of its photonic quantum systems in enterprise data centers and commercial environments.
