Paralign Health, a Kansas City, MO-based healthcare technology company enabling health plans to reach underserved patients through Mobile Integrated Health-Community Paramedicine (MIH-CP), has raised $3 million in a Seed funding round led by Flyover Capital.
The round also saw participation from SixThirty Ventures, Springtime Ventures, Forum Ventures, Sorenson Impact Foundation, Stone Mountain Ventures, and GovTech Ventures.
The company plans to use the funds to expand operations and continue product development.
More than one in four Americans live in medically underserved areas with limited access to preventive healthcare. These patients are more likely to have unmanaged chronic conditions, rely on emergency rooms for care, and experience worse long term health outcomes.
Paralign Health helps health plans work with local fire departments and EMS agencies to reach patients through EMS-led in-home preventive care, also known as Mobile Integrated Health–Community Paramedicine (MIH-CP).
By using trusted emergency responders who are already part of local communities, the company helps health plans proactively connect with patients who do not have easy access to primary care and preventive services.
Paralign Health, co-founded by Molloy and EMS leader Justin Duncan, helps health plans identify high risk members and coordinate in-home EMS-led care. It also supports tracking performance, and managing contracts, claims, and payments with local EMS agencies. The model is designed to improve patient outcomes while lowering avoidable healthcare use and overall healthcare costs.
“As an EMT I witnessed firsthand that communities succeed when they are empowered to care for their own,” added Molloy. “Paralign improves patient outcomes while establishing a foundation for a fairer, and more sustainable healthcare system.”
“Fire departments and EMS agencies already know who is falling through the cracks because they see these patients every day,” said Paralign CEO and EMT Aaron Molloy. “We’re building the infrastructure that allows health plans and local EMS teams to work together upstream—before preventable situations become medical emergencies.”

“Rural communities need new ways to expand access to care, and local EMS agencies are one of the most trusted assets already in place,” said Patrick Berry, Partner at Flyover Capital. “Paralign is building an operating model to help health plans and EMS agencies turn that trust into a scalable care model.”
