Surf Air Mobility Appoints Jason Secore as Chief Financial Officer

Secore bring's 18 years of finance leadership experience across the aviation, aerospace, and technology sectors.

Before joining Surf Air Mobility, he served as CFO of Matternet, an autonomous aviation technology company. There, he led the global finance team and helped manage the financing and reverse-merger transaction that took Matternet from a private company to a publicly traded business.

Before joining Matternet, Secore held senior finance and treasury roles at Arconic, AAR Corp. and Republic Airways. He also worked earlier in his career at Frontier Airlines and US Airways.

He has experience in public-company finance and investor relations, along with capital markets, business transformation, strategic transactions and aircraft financing. He has also helped build finance and governance systems for companies.

Secore holds an MBA from IE Business School, an MS in Agricultural and Natural Resource Economics from the University of California, Davis, and a BA from Northwestern University.

He will replace Oliver Reeves as CFO. Reeves is stepping down to pursue other opportunities but will continue to support the company as an advisor.

During his time as CFO, Reeves helped guide the company’s financial strategy during the early stages of its Transformation Plan. The company thanked him for his contributions, and wished him well in his future work.
