The Richman Group Appoints Abby Perez as Director of Development

Based in Arizona, Perez will oversee development projects across the state, and support the company's expansion into New Mexico and Nevada. Her appointment reflects The Richman Groups focus on growing its regional presence and developing high quality affordable housing in markets with rising demand.

Perez joins The Richman Group from Dominium, where she managed the underwriting and development of affordable multifamily housing projects across Arizona, New Mexico, Nevada, and Minnesota.

During her time there, she helped develop and manage nearly 2,500 affordable apartments across the Southwest. She oversaw projects from acquisition and financing to approvals, construction, and completion.

Perez has extensive experience with Low-Income Housing Tax Credit (LIHTC) developments, tax-exempt bond financing, and working with lenders, investors, municipalities, and public agencies. She also helped deliver Dominium's first new construction project in New Mexico and led the company's first build-to-rent community.

Perez holds a Master of Real Estate Development and a Bachelor of Science in Business from Arizona State University's W. P. Carey School of Business. She is also an active member of the Urban Land Institute and Women in Affordable Housing.

The Richman Group is continuing to expand it's affordable and market rate apartment developments across the Southwest, where demand for housing continues to grow. Perez's appointment strengthens the company's ability to develop high-quality apartment communities that meet the needs of residents and local communities.
