ThreatModeler Names Kevin Gallagher as CEO to Grow Its AI Security Platform

Apr 14, 2026 | By Startuprise io

ThreatModeler, a leader in AI-powered threat modeling, has named Kevin Gallagher as its new CEO. He will lead the company’s strategy, growth, and integration efforts after it acquires IriusRisk, which combined the two leading enterprise threat modeling platforms and strengthened ThreatModeler’s position in the application security market.

Gallagher most recently worked as President of Invicti Security, where he helped unify disparate application security products into a single platform. Before that, he was Chief Revenue Officer, where he unified sales efforts, drove strong revenue growth, and helped lead the company to an exit valued at over $1 billion.

Between his two roles at Invicti, Gallagher served as CEO of Endpoint Protector by CoSoSys, a private equity-backed data loss prevention company. There, he introduced a data-driven operating model, moved the company toward enterprise customers, and led a successful exit. He has over 20 years of experience growing cybersecurity SaaS companies through expansion, consolidation, and exits.

Gallagher joins ThreatModeler at an important time, as the company leads the category with the industry’s largest proprietary threat modeling dataset. The platform is trusted by Fortune 1000 companies across financial services, pharmaceuticals, technology, and industrial manufacturing in North America, EMEA, and Asia, helping customers achieve up to 10x productivity gains and 50% cost savings.

With his experience in scaling and integrating cybersecurity companies, Gallagher will build on this strong foundation and drive the company’s next stage of growth.

“Kevin has a strong track record of growing cybersecurity companies into market leaders and delivering results for customers and investors,” said John DeLoche, Co-Founder and Managing Partner at Invictus Growth Partners. “He knows how to scale and integrate businesses, has strong credibility with enterprise customers and CISOs, and is the right leader for ThreatModeler’s next phase of growth.”

“ThreatModeler combines a leading platform, a strong dataset, and two experienced teams,” said Kevin Gallagher, CEO of ThreatModeler. “AI is changing how software is built and also increasing security risks. Our goal is to help companies stay secure by design at scale and set the standard for modern threat modeling.”

“We’ve built ThreatModeler with a focus on delivering real results for customers,” said Archie Agarwal, Founder and Chief Innovation Officer of ThreatModeler. “Kevin has a strong track record of scaling companies while keeping customer needs at the center. Together, we aim to increase our impact and improve what enterprise threat modeling can deliver.”
