Valtris Specialty Chemicals Announces New CHRO

Valtris Specialty Chemicals has appointed Clint Shephard as it's new Chief Human Resources Officer, where he will lead the companys global talent strategy and be based at its new Midland, Michigan, office.

Most recently, Clint Shephard was Senior Director of Human Resources at Myers Industries Inc., where he led HR strategy. Before that, he spent 15 years at The Dow Chemical Company, including serving as a Global HR Leader focused on talent strategy and organizational performance. He holds a BBA and an MBA from Saginaw Valley State University.

“I have worked with Clint on several occasions over the past 20 years and have seen firsthand the impact he brings as a leader,” said Mike McGaugh, Valtris’ CEO. “He is a seasoned HR executive with a strong track record of building organizations that drive growth and profitability, and I am confident he will do the same at Valtris. Bringing Clint onto our leadership team is an important step in our transformation. He combines a collaborative, pragmatic approach with deep expertise in talent development, and I believe he will be a valuable partner as we continue to build a strong company with a bright future.”
