SUMMARY

  • Fora has raised $60 million in a Series D funding round led by Forerunner and Tactile Ventures, reaching a $1 billion valuation.
  • The company offers an AI-powered platform that helps entrepreneurs build and grow travel advisor businesses.
  • The funding will support business expansion and further development of its AI tools and travel platform.

The round also saw participation from existing investors Thrive Capital, Insight Partners, Heartcore Capital, PLUS Capital, Amy Schumer, BlackPines Capital Partners, and Tribeca Venture Partners.

The company will use the funding to expand its operations and continue developing its products and technology.

The funding comes after a period of strong growth for the company. Since launching in 2021, Fora's travel advisors have booked more than $3 billion in travel. The company took three years to reach its first $1 billion in bookings, another eight months to reach $2 billion, and only five months to grow to $3 billion.

Fora believes AI will help travel advisors do their jobs better, not replace them. The company is expanding Via, its AI assistant, which is currently being tested by a group of its top travel advisors.

Via helps advisors with tasks such as destination research, supplier information, itinerary planning, and travel proposal creation. By reducing administrative work, the AI allows advisors to spend more time building relationships with client's offering personalized recommendations and creating unique travel experiences that AI alone cannot provide.

Fora's growth reflects the rising popularity of the travel advisor profession. In 2025, LinkedIn ranked travel advisor as the fifth-fastest-growing job in the United States.

More than 97% of Fora's 15,000 active advisors are new to the travel industry. They come from a wide range of backgrounds, including doctors, lawyers, traders, stay-at-home parents, and retirees. Some use the platform to earn extra income, while others have built businesses that generate more than $10 million in annual travel bookings.

"Fora has more revenue than all AI travel companies, combined," noted Brian O'Malley, founder and managing partner of Tactile Ventures. "Fora is bigger in AI travel because their offering combines automation when you want it with human accountability when you need it to provide a seamless traveler experience."

"Fora's mission has always been to give advisors the infrastructure they need to build real businesses," said Evan Frank, co-founder of Fora. "In the age of AI, the ceiling on what's possible for this profession is only getting higher, and the things that are hardest to replicate — human expertise, relationships, taste — matter even more.
