Vermont-Based The Farmer Companies Appoints Randy Johnson as Chief Executive Officer

The Farmer Companies is expanding its goal of becoming North America's leading cheese snack company through its ownership of WHISPS® and its exclusive licensing partnership with Cabot Creamery®.

Before joining the company, Randy Johnson led Dot's Pretzels, growing the business from $19 million to $250 million in annual sales in just three years. The company was later acquired by Hershey® for $1.2 billion in 2021.

"Randy joining our talented team as CEO lets me focus on what I do best: finding great brands, made with premium ingredients, to create unforgettable flavors," said Farmer.

Johnson added: "I'm excited to help build one of North America's great consumer products companies. Adam has already proven this category has room to grow. My job is to help it scale."
