Vertiv Acquires Strategic Thermal Labs to Boost Liquid Cooling

The acquisition strengthens Vertiv’s cooling strategy by enhancing its engineering expertise in how server liquid cooling connects with supporting systems. This is especially important for high density environments that run AI and high performance computing workloads.

As computing demands continue to grow, the way server liquid cooling works with supporting systems has a bigger impact on overall performance. This includes flow, system balance, control behavior, ease of maintenance, and long-term reliability.

Strategic Thermal Labs LLC brings strong expertise in cold plate design, server liquid cooling, and testing for high density environments. This will help Vertiv better simulate real world conditions, improve how cooling and power systems work together, and support customers through design, setup, and ongoing operations.
