Its Neurpac software compresses machine-generated data and helps improve network bandwidth. The technology is designed to reduce data size while preserving the original information for restoration at the receiving end. It supports applications involving file, block, SCADA and video data.
Atombeam is also developing Persistent Cognitive Machine (PCM), an AI architecture designed for continuous learning, real-time decision-making and persistent memory while using fewer computing resources.

Funding Details
Atombeam raised $18.3 million through a Regulation A+ offering on StartEngine. The round brings its total funding to more than $55 million.
The company will use the capital to accelerate the development and commercialisation of its technology.
How Will Atombeam Use the Funding?
The company plans to use the fresh capital to advance its existing technology and support its commercialisation efforts. The announcement did not provide a detailed breakdown of the planned spending.
Company Background
Atombeam was founded in 2017 by Charles Yeomans. Its Neurpac platform is designed to reduce data sizes, improve available bandwidth and reduce network congestion through a software-based solution that can run on existing infrastructure.
The company is also working on PCM technology to support AI processing in environments with limited computing power, memory and connectivity.
"Closing this round marks an inflection point for Atombeam. We now have the capital, the team, and the technology to accelerate Neurpac adoption while bringing PCM through independent benchmarking and into customer pilots," said Charles Yeomans, co-founder, chairman and CEO of Atombeam.
"With Neurpac we are solving the challenges Large Language models exacerbate – wired, cellular and satellite networks and data centers pushed to the brink by heavy AI workloads and the barrage of data from connected machines," added Yeomans. "Simultaneously, with PCM we are creating a form of AI that addresses the very weaknesses of LLMs that lead to unprecedented network congestion and data centers that use as much power as small cities.
Market and Business Growth
Atombeam operates in the data compression, and AI infrastructure market, where connected devices and growing AI workloads are increasing demand for efficient data transmission.
The company said its technology is protected by 678 patent filings, including 308 issued or allowed patents and 370 pending applications.
What Happens Next?
Atombeam plans to continue developing and commercialising Neurpac and its Persistent Cognitive Machine technology. The new funding will provide additional capital to support these efforts.
