Virginia-Based TNS Appoints Michael Johnson as Global Managing Director

Johnson will lead TNS’s global Payments Market business, focusing on strategy and growth across its products and markets.

His appointment comes as TNS continues to strengthen its global payments and connectivity business. Johnson joined TNS in 2017 as Vice President of APAC Operations, overseeing network operations across Asia Pacific.

In 2018, he became Managing Director for Asia Pacific Payments. He later took responsibility for TNS’s ADVAM solutions after the company acquired ADVAM.

Johnson is an experienced payments industry professional. Before joining TNS, he spent 15 years at First Data Australia and New Zealand, where he rose to Vice President of Global Service Delivery. He also served as CEO of PAX Technology Australia.
