Xbow Raises Additional $35M in Series C Funding

May 7, 2026 | By Startuprise io

Xbow, a Seattle, WA-based company that specializes in autonomous offensive security, has raised $35 million in additional Series C funding. Backers included Accenture Ventures, DNX Ventures, Liberty Global Tech Ventures, NVentures, Samsung Ventures, and SentinelOne S Ventures. The raise extended its previously announced $120M Series C round.

The new funding will help XBOW expand its sales efforts and grow internationally. With support from DNX Ventures in the Asia-Pacific region and Samsung as a reseller partner in South Korea, XBOW is strengthening its partner network and increasing adoption in an important global market.

In the past, attackers were limited by the number of skilled people available. Even advanced hackers could not target every system and version all the time. With AI, attackers can now operate continuously at scale, testing every release, environment, and exposed system. Traditional human-led penetration testing can no longer keep up with AI-powered attacks and fast modern development cycles.

XBOW uses AI to continuously identify and test application vulnerabilities the same way attackers do, rather than relying on one-time penetration tests. It delivers verified results with fewer false positives. It can also confirm whether issues found by other security tools are actually exploitable, helping security teams avoid wasting time on unnecessary alerts.

As software is released faster, continuous security testing is becoming more important. XBOW helps companies test more frequently, reduce security review delays, and stay ahead of attackers rather than only react after problems appear.

The company recently grew to more than 250 employees and is continuing to expand its sales, engineering, and operations teams to meet rising enterprise demand. As XBOW continues to grow, it is focused on expanding globally and helping security teams work continuously and at the speed of modern attackers.

“We’re seeing accelerating demand for XBOW as organizations look for continuous, intelligent security testing,” said a Samsung Ventures America representative. “As a customer, we have experienced the platform’s ability to surface real world risks with speed, and precision. XBOW stands out in a crowded market and we are excited to now back this talented team as both a partner and investor.”

"The attacker's point of view is foundational to defense, but difficult to operationalize. XBOW changes this by surfacing exploitable and novel findings at machine speed,” said Alex Krongold, Director, Corporate Development & Ventures, SentinelOne. “Each XBOW agent operates like an extension of our in-house red team, allowing us to scale offensive testing with speed and depth that was previously out of reach.”

“We're learning in real time from teams operating at massive scale, and using that insight to build faster for defenders on the front lines," said Oege de Moor, Founder and CEO, XBOW. "The strongest alignment is when your customers are also in the trenches with you as investors and partners."
