Xsolla Partners With Tenjin to Connect Web Shop Revenue

Xsolla announced a new server-to-server (S2S) integration with Tenjin, a mobile measurement and analytics platform used by more than 30,000 apps worldwide.
The integration sends Web Shop purchase data directly into Tenjin’s analytics platform, giving game developers a clearer view of player lifetime value, and return on ad spend across both mobile app and web purchases.
For studios operating direct-to-consumer web shops alongside mobile games, the integration helps connect web revenue to the marketing campaigns that generated those sales.
The integration sends Web Shop purchase data from Xsolla to Tenjin as server-to-server events, allowing purchases to be linked to the correct app install source. Developers do not need to write any code. They can enable the integration directly through their Xsolla Publisher Account and Tenjin dashboard, making it easy for studios of all sizes to use.
The integration helps studios connect web shop purchases to the correct marketing source by sending purchase events to Tenjin as server-to-server events. This gives developers a clearer, and more accurate view of marketing performance across both app stores and web sales.
As a result, studios can better understand their revenue, make smarter budgeting decisions, and grow with complete data rather than estimates or assumptions.
For mobile game studios, the biggest challenge has not been creating a Web Shop, but measuring how well it performs. Marketing budgets depend on tracking revenue, yet Web Shop purchases were often disconnected from campaign and user acquisition data.
Because studios could not clearly connect web revenue to specific marketing efforts, it became difficult to confidently scale their direct-to-consumer businesses, even when they were generating strong results.

"Developers build Web Shops to keep more of what they earn. This integration makes sure they can actually measure that. When Web Shop revenue flows into Tenjin alongside in-app data, studios get a clear picture of their unit economics and can allocate budget to campaigns that deliver healthy margins. This is the type of visibility that drives better decisions," said Roman Garbar, Marketing Director at Tenjin.
"Web Shops have moved from an emerging opportunity to a proven growth channel – and the developers winning right now are the ones treating them as a core part of their business, not an afterthought. More than 700 studios have launched Web Shops on our platform because the economics are compelling. Integrating that revenue data with best-in-class measurement tools like Tenjin is the next step in making sure developers have everything they need to scale confidently," said Chris Hewish, President at Xsolla.
