Yoneda Labs, an AI powered drug discovery startup secures $4million in seed funding. Khosla Ventures, 500 Emerging Europe, 468 Capital, Fellows Fund, and Y Combinator were among the backers.

The money will be used by the business to increase its development activities. Yoneda Labs, founded by Daniel Vlasits, Jan Oboril, and Michal Mgeladze-Arciuch, is developing a foundational AI chemical manufacturing model for scientists involved in drug development.

The Y Combinator (YC) firm is creating a drug discovery foundation model for scientists. The group discovered 20,000 chemical interactions while at YC in order to produce exclusive data for their foundation model.

The models indicated favourable circumstances in 95% of cases in a small-scale trial, which is a significant improvement above the industry standard where most studies fail.

With this money, they want to continue training a generalizable AI model for chemists by constructing a robotics lab that can conduct tests on the remaining 20,000 processes.

About Yoneda Labs

Software is offered by Yoneda Labs to assist chemists in optimising processes. They assist chemists in determining the ideal reaction parameters, such as temperature, concentration, and catalyst, while they are creating a medication or substance. They contribute to the quicker, less expensive, and more ecologically friendly production of chemicals.
